Independent Age works to keep thousands of older people independent and out of poverty by providing them with practical support, financial help and lifelong friendship.
Our support is provided by a network of 1200 volunteers supported by a small number of staff across the UK and Ireland.
We focus our support on those who:
· Are over 70
· Are in financial need
· Are lonely or isolated
· Have made a sustained and significant contribution to society, particularly through voluntary work
We also operate three care homes in the south of England.
