Using Charity IT Leaders Website to set up a special interest group is very easy but it does require some admin support from your web administrators. So it is a good idea to put some feelers out first and find out how many people are interested. You can do this by setting up a forum post on the website under CCITDG Business\Affiliated Groups and SIGs :- http://www.ccitdg.org.uk/forum.aspx?g=topics&f=28
The key thing here is to make sure that there is an owner of the group.
Once you have got some interest going you might want to think about the following resources:-
Your own forum area under the SIGs Area.
Please let us know and we will organise setting up a SIG forum. When we set up the forum we will put the name of the owner on the forum.
Please let us know that you wish to set up a document resources area for the SIG.
