The Charities Consortium IT Directors Group (CCitDG) is the premier membership group of IT Directors of major UK Charities. Our primary purpose is to provide a sounding board on all issues relating to technology in the Charity Sector and to provide support to each other. We also can collaborate on procurements and other projects.
Current membership is 97, and the charities we represent, mostly 'household names, have an overall annual IT spend of £2M
Membership requires being a Registered UK charity, having a turnover of at least £25M pa and having sufficiently complex networked ICT to provide commonality for valuable interchange of ideas of a business and technical nature.
Large charities with smaller financial turnovers but with significant IT resources or IT complexity may also be voted in by members. There is an annual membership subscription. We have an active help forum and conduct a once yearly benchmarking exercise.
