What does the Group do?

We provide the ability to share ideas and learn from each other in a safe environment.  We get together Quarterly to discuss issues of the day.  We also provide opportunities for our teams to get together to take part in Special Interest Groups on topics such as Security.  We also run a major benchmarking exercise once a year to allow our members to see their strengths and weaknesses.

Our principal activities are:

  • To exchange information and experience on the best industry practice, and to encourage this best practice across the sector.
  • This includes a major benchmarking activity
  • To keep in touch with the latest technology and share our experiences of it.
  • To evaluate suppliers and consultants and share our experiences of them.
  • To exchange information about purchasing issues and to optimise buying potential across our industry sector.
  • To seek commercial benefit on behalf of members of the group.
