Come and join the Charity IT Leaders

The Charity IT Leaders is composed of the Heads of IS/IT from the major UK Charities. It exists to further the mutual aims of its members and to promote their interests.

We currently have approx. 90 member charities, growing in number from year to year.

To qualify for membership, charities need to meet the following criteria:

  1. A registered UK charity,
  2. With a turnover of at least £25m pa,
  3. With sufficiently complex networked ICT to provide meaningful commonality for the valuable interchange of ideas of a business and technical nature, and
  4. Payment of an annual membership subscription (currently £500).

A large charity with a smaller financial turnover than £25m, but with significant IT resources or IT complexity, may be voted in by members. (Payment of the annual membership subscription still applies).

If you don't quite meet the membership criteria, your comments will help us make a decision about your membership request. If you do meet the membership criteria, your comments help us to begin to get to know you and your organisation.


Please give a brief description of the charity's purpose and functions. Also, tell us about your IT architecture; no. of sites, no. of users, network, servers, large applications, no. of IT staff etc. Also tell us of any special interests / issues you'd like to involve the group in.
